Hack to have multiple Undo Levels in Image Composer:
Set a registry entry thus:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Microsoft Image Composer\Settings]
"MaxUndoLevels"=dword:00000010
I had to actually create the entry, but YMMV.
I was amazed that this worked. Why this is not a default or at least a configuration option is beyond me.

Sadly, this no longer works (posted July2022). About 2 Windows 10 updates back, the multiple undo's just stopped working. Whilst you can undo multiple "text" creations, it only allows ONE undo for any sprite created, effectively rendering the program virtually unusable.
I did that mod many many years back and have been using MIC as my default graphic editor since it came out on the old FrontPage CD. I do graphics professionally, so losing the multiple undo fuinctionality is a massive blow.
I will have to setup a PC running Windows 7 and get rid of this latest "bloat/spyware" called Windows 10
Yikes. I tested and undo was dead on my system as well. Mercifully, it is just because the value was deleted from the registry. Putting it back in fixed the problem. Microsoft is psychopathic. Thanks for making the comment. It would have driven me nuts if I found it first!
