Image Composer Black Screen Fix
Occasionally, Microsoft Image Composer 1.5 will blow up on you and when you start it again, you are presented with a black screen.
There does not seem to be either a way to fix this from within Image Composer and I was not able to find anything anywhere except for the question as to how to fix it.
You can try to recover by using the registry and editing values back to something sane. However, there are a lot of them. To return it back to the way it was at installation, all you have to do is exit Image Composer and [NOTE: ALL NORMAL CAVEATS APPLY. IT CAN BE DANGEROUS MESSING WITH THE REGISTRY] delete this key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Microsoft Image Composer\
Re-Run Image Composer. It should now be fixed.

Thank you so much for that. What an easy fix to what would otherwise have wound me up for days!
One thing to add though, you need to have closed Image Composer before deleting the key or it won't have any effect.
Cheers
